ECO CREATIONS

I'm thrilled on how the pillows  for my  New Jersey client turned out.  She had commissioned  Tuscan scenes for two pillows. I suggested a field of Sunflowers and lavender fields.  Panels were painted on a medium weight canvas fabric and the backing complimentary fabric I finally chose was an Eco Twill combination  of 65% recycled polyester and 35% organic cotton.  I chose this over the hemp because  I had not used this before and I actually loved the smoothness of the fabric and it really worked well with the finished product. I make my own pillow forms out of muslin and soft cottons and stuff them with Eco batting that is hypo-allergenic. They were loving packed and shipped out.  Can't wait to see pictures of them in their new home.

I have also finished the poppy dresser but decided it needed some more details on the dresser drawers which I'm working on to give it a finished look. Here is a detail of the top of dresser.
